A critical component of preparedness is having the ability to grow and gather your own food. No matter how many months or years of food you stockpile, we may someday find ourselves in a situation where it just isn’t enough. Eventually, it will run out. In any study of people in economic collapse, wartime or other dire situations, those who fare best are those who have gardens and the ability to be self-sufficient.

Fertilizers and other agricultural components are in a state of severe shortage. This will greatly affect commercial agriculture in the years to come. It’s imperative to learn to grow and produce food for yourself if you don’t already do so.
