Diatomaceous earth is a natural and effective way to not only protect our grains from insects but it also keeps moisture away from the grains helping to reduce or eliminate the possibility of mold growth.

*NOTE: I now stir the Diatomaceous Earth into the grains after sprinkeling it on top of the grains. Stirring the DE into the grains helps cover and protect all of the grains.
