In the s**t kit, survival items carried in a bum bag, fanny pack, waist pack.

The video shows a loadout of survival items within the bum bag but in all honesty I’d just carry the following.

Emergency bivvy bag
Emergency shelter kit
Orange bandana
Water bag and putitabs
Survival kit in a tin

The rest of the space can be utilised to carry EDC items. If you are unlucky enough to lose your main bag the bum bag provides all the last ditch items to give you a better chance of survival.

And of course, the bum bag isn’t tacticool and will draw less attention to you.
