Survivalist Jason Tietz is an expert when it comes to knowing what to do in an emergency situation, one that finds you roughing it in the wilderness. Jason has a tip for Outside Explorer about the best way to be survival savvy. One important factor in a survival situation is the ability to build a shelter. In this week’s tip, Jason shows us a simple and effective way to build a lean-to from materials that can be found in any wooded setting. And though hopefully you’ll never have to use your shelter building skills, it’s always good to have them.
